As we patiently await the new album, Afraid of Heights by Wavves, lead singer Nathan Williams and the gang released their music video for the track, “Demon To Lean On.” The video features a young boy who wakes up in a junk yard after falling asleep in a towed car. Upon his arrival, the lost boy is captured by a group of young misfits dressed in warrior gear, similar to what you’d find in the classic movie, Hook.
Wavves’ quality of musicianship and production has been steadily increasing since their lo-fi debut in 2008. There’s something about their “I don’t give a fuck” attitude that’s almost charming. Their grunge sound gives hope for the newly formed 90’s rock-revival genre. Having only heard “Sail To The Sun” and “Demon To Lean On” from the upcoming album, it’s clear the King Of The Beach’s new album has shaping up to be a promising one.
