Dying Teenager Marie Fowler Wants to Meet Her Musical Idol Kellin Quinn

New Jersey teenager Marie Fowler was recently diagnosed with stage 4 leukemia and has a short time to live. She tried treating with a double bone marrow transplant from her sister and father but sadly it did not end up working.

Marie’s last hope and dream is to meet her musical idol Kellin Quinn from Michigan rock outfit Sleeping With Sirens. Marie and her sister made a Youtube (sponsored by Friends Are By Your Side foundation) video that spread around asking for help to meet her admirer. Thanks to the combined information-spreading powers of Reddit and Twitter this dream is quickly becoming a reality. It even brought her to get an extremely fast response from Kellin Quinn. The Twitter hashtag #kellinmeetmarie was set in place and received an astounding 800 tweets per minute. Also, more than a thousand notes on Tumblr were shared.

The next portion of the connection is actually getting Marie to meet Kellin. Reddit users, fans, and friends have continued to donate money to fly her anywhere he was going to be in the country. Let’s make it happen!!
