Get Terrified by the New ‘V/H/S/2’ Red Band Trailer

The UTG staff had divided reviews on last year’s V/H/S but ultimately we all enjoyed the anthology formula and had our favorite segments that we talked about for some time. Since V/H/S/2 was announced, we got infinitely more excited the second we saw the directors attached to the project. Jason Eisener (Hobo With A Shotgun, Treevenge), Gareth Evans (The Raid: Redemption), Eduardo Sánchez (The Blair Witch Project), and Adam Wingard (V/H/S, You’re Next) have all contributed to the highly anticipated follow-up and we couldn’t be happier about the choice of talent.

Now, a new red band trailer was released today and it’s leaps and bounds more exhilarating than the trailer that originally got us giddy for the first film. Know that this trailer is NSFW but you should watch it immediately if you’re a die-hard horror fan like the majority of our staff. If the red band trailer is any indication of what V/H/S/2 has in store for us in terms of pure terror and incredible visuals, then this may be the horror film to beat this year. V/H/S/2 will be on iTunes/On Demand June 6, 2013 and in theaters July 12, 2013. Be on the lookout for our review in the coming weeks.
