Tim Lambesis’ Reportedly Worth $14 Million; New Arrest Details Emerge

As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis is currently sitting in the Vista Detention Facility in California, being held on $3 million bail stemming from charges of plotting to have his estranged wife killed by a hitman. He’s not due in court again until June 10, but details surrounding the case and Lambesis’ life continue to surface by the day.

Yesterday, a new article from The San Diego Reader revealed new details regarding the day police took Lambesis into custody. An eyewitness who chose to not be named claims he was working at Barnes And Noble when cops entered the premises and arrested the AILD frontman. Speaking to the paper, the eyewitness claimed “It was about 2 p.m. My buddy was outside the store doing face-painting and the cops told him that he needed to stop immediately and go inside. Tim [Lambesis] was there with a friend just browsing. I saw one special task-force cop, two regular officers, and two undercover officers. They just pushed everyone aside and handcuffed him. It all happened so fast. It seemed like they were planning it out for a long time.”

Lambesis’ lawyer is reportedly looking into the idea that Lambesis may have been set up, but at this point no further information or progress regarding that investigation has been made public.

The article offered few additional details that remained unknown, but it did curiously mention that Lambesis has a net worth of $14 million. The article does not link a source for this figure, but it does point to his band, his numerous touring efforts, his clothing line, and his recording studio as sources of income.

UTG is continuing to follow Lambesis’ story and will bring you additional updates as they begin to surface. For a look back at everything that has happened thus far, click here.
