Gerard Way, best known as the vocalist for My Chemical Romance, has had work in comic book writing before. He had several of his drawings appear in Apocalypse Suite from Dark Horse Comics in 2007. Little did we know, Way was also working on his own imprint of Batman that DC Comics had officially approved. He never got around to writing it, though obviously fans are clamoring for him to do it now in a post-MCR world.
Way revealed this through his Twitter account, where he also displayed the concept art. You can see his full statements and the full artwork after the break.
