We found out not long ago that Nine Inch Nails had a new single, “Came Back Haunted,” coming out tomorrow at 2:30 Eastern. Today, the band tweeted a simple album announcement:
halo twenty eight: hesitation marks. 9.03.13.

It seems Hesitation Marks will be the group’s first album since 2008’s The Slip; we expect it to be more in lieu with their major label releases given that it is a major label release. We should also tell those who don’t know, “halo” is NiN’s way of numbering their opuses. Given Columbia’s experience with How To Destroy Angels and Trent Reznor’s previous disgust with major labels, you’d expect both parties to know what they’re getting into. That said, we’ll get our first taste of music tomorrow, and we’ll have it here for you to stream!
