Drop Everything And Stream The New Song From Palms

Have you heard about Palms yet? The quartet, featuring Deftones’ Chino Moreno and three quarters of Isis – drummer Aaron Harris, bassist Jeff Caxide, and guitarist Bryant Clifford Meyer – are releasing their forthcoming self-titled album on June 25 via Ipecac Records. We’ve had the pleasure of hearing the record already and can tell you here and now that it’s one of the best releases you will experience in 2013. A song off the album hit the net recently, and it’s now the one song you need to stream today.

“Patagonia” is the second song off Palms’ forthcoming debut album. With hopes of not fraying too far into the land of hippie talk, the song can best be described as a dizzying and intoxicating journey through a world of alternative metal far too rarely explored in the modern day. There is no denying the strength of the individual members on their own, but there is something simply perfect about the way their artistic powers fuse together on this project, and that is no better exemplified than right here on “Patagonia.” You can stream the song at the end of this post.

As I mentioned above, Palms will be releasing their self-titled effort on June 25. Preorder now and let the world know you support the future of good music.
