STREAM: RX Bandits – “Surf Wax America” (Weezer Cover)

We all know RX Bandits have an EP of covers coming up. They did a cover of one of those songs at Skate & Surf, and that song was “Surf Wax America,” originally by Weezer. Our friends and brothers at fellow AbsoluteVoices website AbsolutePunk have now posted a stream of the studio version of this cover.

The Covers EP will also come out on CD on RX’s upcoming tour, with each song available as a free download before it. The schedule is as follows:

1. “Can’t Stand Losing You” (originally by The Police)
2. “Falling Man” (originally by Blonde Redhead)
3. “Surf Wax America” (originally by Weezer) [free to fans on June 17th]
4. “Cashout” (originally by Fugazi) [free to fans on June 24th]
5. “21st Century Schizoid Man” (originally by King Crimson) [exclusive to CD]

I finished school with a music theory degree. Before I finished school, I was a janitor. You really should apologize to all the janitors you've ever had. You hurt them. Seriously. You did.

But, now that we've cleared that up and you called your high school janitor, know that I quit being a janitor to pursue writing about music. So here I am, and here you are, and hey how are you?
