This is the kind of headline you expect to see on satire sites, but it is indeed the truth. May deities have mercy on our souls.
In a new article on TMZ, hip hop superstar Waka Flocka Flame has revealed he is currently finalizing plans to sign Amanda Bynes to a recording contract. Again, this is not a joke.
According to the story, conversations with Brick Squad Monopoly Records are ongoing, but Waka Flocka claims the deal is essentially “in the bag.” He’s so confident, in fact, he has already begun looking for songwriters to assist on Bynes’ debut. The album will be titled Shots, but no release date has been set at this time.
When asked if he was concerned for Bynes’ well being following her recent public outbursts, Flocka responded “Not at all. She has it all together to me. She is cool as hell and ready for the rap world. I think she is going to kill the game.”
I’m not sure we agree with Waka on this one, but we’ll surely be following this story as it continues to develop. Be sure to follow UTG on Twitter to ensure you never miss another headline.
