A Wolf. A Liar. have surprisingly announced tonight that they will be parting ways as a band. It looks as though their guitarist, Max Young, is planning on joining the army, which will leave only one original member (Dalton Lott) left in the band. Since he and Max wrote their last release, there hasn’t been any new music written and the band decided it was best to part ways. You can read the full statement from the band below the jump.

They have not indicated if they will perform their last tour dates or not, so keep your eyes peeled for that update!

Alright, people. That last post was a little vague, so here’s the full story. Max Young(the guitarist/singer) is more than likely joining the army, this would leave the band with only 1 original member, being Dalton Lott(vocals). Max and Dalton wrote the new album (Persevere) by themselves, and since there hasn’t been anything written with the new members, we have decided it is best to just call a quits, because we all also have a lot going on in our individual lives as well. We are sorry for how random this is, but we think it is all for the best. We are all brothers, and there are no hard feelings about anything. The amount of love we have for all of you that have supported us is too much to express in words. Thank you again.
