A$AP Ant And A$AP Nast Debut “The Way It Go/Trillmatic”

A week or so has past since we last heard from A$AP Mob, so it only makes sense this morning would come with a new release from two of its most promising members.

Hitting the net at some point in the last twenty-four hours, A$AP Ant and A$AP Nast have partnered to debut a pair of singles with single music video. “The Way It Goes” is a trill-heavy track that brings to mind material on A$AP Rocky’s debut, only with a nastier flow. “Trillmatic” is equally built on elements of trill, but there is also a hint of 90s hip hop influence that gives a different-yet-cohesive sound than “The Way It Goes.” The visuals are typical performance pieces throughout what we can only assume is New York City, but it’s worth at least a single view. A special mention should be given to director Jonah Schwartz, as he is the one who found a way to make these two sonically different pieces feel so compatible. You can watch the video at the end of this post.

Though we do not know when Ant or Nast will release another track, fans of the Mob can expect A$AP Ferg’s long-awaited album to arrive before the leaves change. It would be nice if “The Way It Go/Trillmatic” is the first sign of a new Mob mixtape, but we’re not holding our breath for news like that just yet.
