Yeezus season is still among us, and this morning we have one of the few new Kanye remixes worthy of your time.

Arriving online complete with a free download, Angel Haze has taken on the task of making Kanye’s “New Slaves” all her own. The fury directed in the original towards rich white men is matched, if not heightened on this take, and instead of white males it’s the entire political machine that passes through Haze’s crosshairs. She picks apart racism, rape and even the messed up world of digital she has had to embrace in order to progress, and while the results might not be up to par with Kanye they are sure to leave an impression on you.

Angel Haze may not be a household name just yet, but during her recent ascent to the hip hop hierarchy she has never been one to hold her tongue. While many female emcees lean on taking control of their sexuality, Haze has addressed political and moral issues, described her battle with sexual abuse, and now with “New Slaves” she has proven without a doubt that women can spit just as real as men.
