You Have To See The First Trailer For ‘Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa’ To Believe It

Not long ago, UTG brought you news that Paranormal Activity 5 had been moved from its October 2013 release date and replaced with a new film from the Jackass team entitled, Bad Grandpa. We were familiar with the character from the previous Jackass films, but it wasn’t until this morning that we got our first look at the new movie.

Attempting to add a few new twists to the Jackass game, Bad Grandpa finds signature Jackass character Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and his 8-year-old Billy (Jackson Nicholl) taking movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on film. There seems to be a small plot about getting Billy to his dad, but the trailer prefers to focus on a variety of gags found within the film. Some are clearly updated versions of old Jackass bits, but most of what you see feels like relatively fresh ideas.

I am still not sold on Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa being a feature that can stand alongside the other films in Jackass universe, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t chuckle a few times during the trailer. Comment below to let UTG know what you think of the footage, and whether or not Knoxville will get your moviegoing dollar this fall. Bad Grandpa opens October 25.
