The man who taught us how to party like it was “1999” long before that year actually happened (which feels like forever ago at this point) has returned with another taste of his upcoming album.

Last night, just a day after making news for joining Twitter, Prince uploaded an eighty-two second teaser of a new song, entitled “Groovy Potential.” The song has a fitting title to say the least, but it’s still too early to really discuss the material offered. You can stream the clip below.

Throughout 2013 Prince has made headlines with various contributions to the world of music, but in classic Prince fashion has been quiet when discussion turned to the release of another album. He’s always working on music, of course, but when he decides it’s good enough for the rest of us is anyone’s guess. We’ll keep our eyes peeled and update you as soon as more information becomes available.
