Artist Vs Poet Stream ‘The Sleep’ EP

Artist Vs Poet released their The Sleep EP yesterday and was nice enough to let you listen to it before you make the commitment by streaming every track.

Most of the record plays like music you’d hear during a dramatic scene between lovers or friends on one of those shows on The CW or ABC Family that revolves around teenage lives. This definitely isn’t the band that was signed to Fearless Records once upon a time. When they dropped lead singer Tarcy Thomason in 2011, they lost the infectious pop and went for a more mature pop rock demeanor.

You might remember hearing Artist Vs Poet if you watched last season of NBC’s The Voice. Their new singer Joe Kirkland managed to snag a spot on “Team Adam,” but didn’t make it to the end; obviously.
