Conor Oberst Announces New Album ‘Upside Down Mountain’ and Tour, Shares “Hundreds of Ways”

Bright Eyes’ mastermind Conor Oberst has finally revealed his plans for 2014.

Conor Oberst has announced plans to release his new album, Upside Down Mountain, on May 21 via Nonesuch records. A new song titled “Hundreds Of Ways,” which will be released as part of a limited edition 7″ on Record Store Day (April 19) can be streamed below.

News of a new album follows recent reports that Oberst spent time in recent months recording in Nashville. No track list or album art are available at this time, but you can rest assured we will bring you those details when they surface.

In addition to releasing new music, Oberst has also announced a string of tour dates that will take him and Dawes around the country beginning in late May. The current routing for the tour is as follows:
