Tool have significantly expanded their previously announced plans to embark on a US tour beginning in March 2014.
This morning, a new series of Tool tour dates found their way online. The dates are still primarily on the west coast, but the expansion’s added performances should offer at least a glimmer of hope to those of us located elsewhere that the band may be considering additional shows throughout the year. You can view the current itinerary below:
3/4 Spokane, WA @ Spokane Arena
3/6 Portland, OR @ MODA Center
3/7 Eugene, OR @ Matthew Knight Arena
3/9 Reno, NV @ Reno Event Center
3/11 San Francisco, CA @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
3/12 San Francisco, CA @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
3/14 Fresno, CA @ Selland Arena
3/15 Las Vegas, NV @ Planet Hollywood
3/16 San Diego, CA @ Valley View Arena
3/24 Austin, TX @ Cedar Park Center
3/25 Houston, TX @ Toyota Center
3/27 Phoenix, AZ @ US Airways Center
Following Tool’s efforts in recent years has proven rather difficult. Updates from the group have been sparse, and typically offer little-to-no solid information worth reporting to fans. There were rumors of a new album being in the works throughout 2013, so perhaps this slow reveal of tour dates will eventually lead to an album release. We’ll bring you more information as additional details begin to surface.
