Chicago, Illinois natives Knuckle Puck are gearing up for an exciting spring. The highlights, of course, are the band’s full US tour with English pop punk act Neck Deep, which runs from February 28 through April 5, and an accompanying split EP that will include two brand new Knuckle Puck songs. The first of those tracks, “Gold Rush,” was premiered earlier this month, and the second, titled “Fences,” is streaming now after the break, over at AbsolutePunk.
Like nearly every song in Knuckle Puck’s discography, “Fences” is tailor-made for loud stereos and live sing-alongs. The lyrics might hit on fairly standard pop punk themes of broken relationships and small towns, but don’t let that stop you from giving it a spin. The execution is top-notch.
The split was initially available online through Bad Timing Records, but it sold out in a matter of hours, so if you missed out, the merch table will be the only place you’ll be able to pick up a copy.
