Bassist Arif Mirabdolbaghi Leaves Protest The Hero

April Fools’ Day is never really a great day for breaking news, but alas, the news doesn’t stop for the day of pranks.

Back in October, Protest The Hero‘s bassist, Arif Mirabdolbaghi, dropped off the band’s tour at the time to work on an adaptation of a Dostoevsky piece. He hasn’t been on the road with the band since, but now it seems that he will no longer be a part of the group permanently.

According to MetalSucks, Rody Walker announced at one of their performances the other night that Arif will no longer be a part of the band. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any official statement from the group on any of their social media networks yet, but we hope to hear something soon. Be sure to check in again for an update, as we are sure the band will pipe up soon enough.
