Trioscapes Announce Spring Tour Dates

Trioscapes, the experimental jazz group featuring Between The Buried And Me bassist Dan Briggs, will be heading out on the road this May. The two-week tour kicks off May 2 in Knoxville, Tennessee and circles the eastern half of the country before finishing up on May 17 in Greensboro, North Carolina. If you only know Briggs from his work in the progressive metal genre, then you’ve hardly scratched the surface of his considerable talents. Trioscapes’ 2012 debut, Separate Realities, finds Briggs and the other two band members, saxophone player Walter Fancourt and drummer Matt Lynch, powering through complex arrangements with ease and finesse while experimenting with a wide range of tones and styles.
