Welcome back to Weekly Wax!
It’s a bit of a light week, since everyone is gearing up for Record Store Day, which takes place next Saturday, April 19. The official list of RSD exclusive releases is available right here. What are you planning on picking up?
With that said, there are still quite a few cool releases to talk about this week. Two of the vinyl community’s most highly anticipated reissues went on sale this week. Those releases, of course, are Frengers by Mew and The Mars Volta‘s classic debut, De-Loused In the Comatorium. If your bank account isn’t empty after picking those up, you can also snag the Tron soundtrack, Trap Them‘s absolutely visceral new full-length, and an LP of Brand New songs reimagined as lullabies.
Check out the full roundup of vinyl news after the break.
