You may or may not have heard of YAITW (otherwise known as Young And In The Way) before today, but fans of heavy music are about to discover the next band that will change their lives. Prepare to rage.

Hailing from North Carolina, YAITW present a dense and often sludgy take on hardcore that grabs you by the collar and demands you sacrifice your life savings if you ever want to see your loved ones again. It’s violent, dark, and completely irresistible to anyone with an ear for aggressive music. YAITW signed with Deathwish Inc earlier this year and quickly got to work on their debut album. That record, titled When Life Comes to Death, will arrive in stores May 27. Pre-orders, including vinyl, can be found here.
