The Story So Far may have made their name playing loud, energetic pop punk, but songs like “Clairvoyant,” released last year on a split EP with fellow Californians Stick To Your Guns, have proven the band’s ability to shine even when the volume is turned down. They will continue to explore that direction on Songs Of The Story So Far, an acoustic EP due out June 17.
The EP will feature acoustic renditions of three tracks from their 2013 full-length, What You Don’t See, along with a brand new song called “Navy Blue” and a cover of Bob Marley’s “Waiting In Vain.” Check out the full tracklist after the break. Pre-orders have yet to launch, but expect them to go up in the coming weeks via Pure Noise Records.
The Story So Far will spend all summer on the Vans Warped Tour before heading over to Europe with New Found Glory for the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour.
