UTG Is Looking For Writers Well-Versed In Metal!

We’re currently in search of one or two writers that can primarily cover metal (death, grind, prog, black, all your various cores and ridiculously specific sub-genres). This would consist of music news (new song streams, videos, album announcements, tour dates, etc.) and album reviews as well.

If offered a position, you would be encouraged to write about any and all other genres if you wished to do so–this would not be exclusive to metal, but we would like someone that follows the genre and knows it well. If you still love Cannibal Corpse, wish Animosity would reunite, enjoyed the new Behemoth or Aborted, are looking forward to Inanimate Existence’s upcoming album and can’t wait to see Meshuggah on tour with BTBAM this summer then you’re probably what we’re looking for. We can talk much more about metal later, but for now, if you’re interested in joining UTG based on what you’ve read above then please do the following:

Kidding–at least age and location though, and maybe your interests / favorite metal bands), any pertinent writing samples, and the obligatory résumé. Make sure to include ‘UTG Metal Writer’ in the subject line. If you don’t have any experience, don’t fret! We may still be interested in what you have to offer. Just send what you can and we’ll be in touch if we feel you may be what we’re looking for.
