Vans Warped Tour has announced the return of the beloved Shiragirl Stage.
This week it was announced that the long-running Shiragirl Stage will be returning to the Vans Warped Tour for its 2014 run. The acts performing will be female artists and female-fronted bands from across the country who entered and won the Conquer Entertainment Shiragirl Talent Search. Dates and lineup information for the stage can be found at the end of this post.
The Shiragirl Stage got its start when Shiragirl crashed the Vans Warped Tour 2004. The response was so great that they were invited back out the following year, where they hosted over 200 female-fronted bands, including Paramore on their first tour. That fact alone should be all the reason you need to give this stage a few minutes of your time this summer. New music is good for the soul. Trust me.
