Wildcat! Wildcat! Release Lyric Video For “Hero”

If you’re familiar with the LA-based trio Wildcat! Wildcat! then you’re familiar with their massive-sounding, synth-driven brand of pop. You may also be aware of the fact that the band is set to release their debut full-length record, No Moon At All, on August 5 via Downtown Records (Vacationer, Say Lou Lou, Gnarls Barkley).

If you weren’t privy to any of this information until just now, then the band’s newest single and lyric video, “Hero,” will be an excellent introduction for you. Following Wildcat! Wildcat!’s debut EP from last year, “Hero” portrays the work of a band that has further excelled at their craft within the pop realm with stellar production and a big, anthemic sound between the synth, instrumentation, and smooth vocal delivery. The black and white archival footage video is really cool, too. W!W! will easily appeal to fans of acts like Magic Man, Blondfire, CHVRCHES, and Two Door Cinema Club.
