The pop rock three-piece known as Before You Exit have returned to the front page of UTG with a new single that is sure to make teens’ knees weak from coast to coast.

“Heart Like California” is one of those quasi-ballads that has just enough energy to make slow dancing difficult. It’s a feel-good song about finding a girl who, as you can probably guess, has a heart like California, and it’s sure to be the new obsession for many Before You Exit fans around the globe. The song premiered online yesterday and today received its own lyric video. You can view the clip below:

Before You Exit are a solid band that I truly believe have a bright future ahead of them, but because the members are so young it can often be difficult to convince people they are going places. Some see age as a sign of what type of audience you can reach, and to be fair that is true to an extent, but when you have true talent people will flock to your creations regardless of your age. I believe Before You Exit have that talent, and hopefully they will share more of their latest material in the weeks ahead.
