Relient K Announce ‘Mmhmm’ 10th Anniversary Tour

Relient K 2013

Relient K have (finally) announced a fall tour to celebrate the ten year anniversary of their mainstream debut record, Mmhmm. The band saw their first true success after signing with Capital Records in 2004 and releasing the singles “Be My Escape” and “Who I Am Hates Who I’ve Been” from Mmhmm. Frontman Matt Thiessen and guitarist Matt Hoopes currently remain as the only two original band members who played on the album.

It took nearly a month for the official announcement after a less-than-cryptic tweet was posted by the band in early July. Of course, this generated a good amount of social media promotion as fans started posting and reflecting on an album that had become the epitome of the pop-punk era of the early 2000s.

Blondfire and From Indian Lakes will support Relient K on the tour. Tickets will go on sale Friday, August 1. See below for a list of tour dates to find out when they will be coming to your area.
