One of the most prominent indie bands of the 2000s is back. In a relatively unexpected move, TV On the Radio has announced Seeds, their first new full-length since 2011, when they released Nine Types of Light. This just became my most anticipated release for the remainder of the year.
The band uploaded a teaser trailer to YouTube, and it’s literally that. The short 26-second video shows a very colorful, funnel-shaped foam creation and features what sounds like the ending of a song. Regardless, it’s exciting.
No date has been announced, but the rumor is that it’s set for a Fall release. Stay connected to UTG for any more updates on TV On the Radio. Check out the trailer below and get stoked with us.
