Life Is Short In Fireworks’ New Video For “Bed Sores”

Fireworks are no strangers to portraying a great story, visually, in roughly three minutes, which they’ve done yet again with their newest visual offering for Oh, Common Life cut, “Bedsores.”

A.V. Club recently premiered the Max Moore Films production which follows the life of our protagonist from childhood as he grows up through his typical reckless teenage years to become an older gentleman in the blink of an eye — something he surely realizes and is winded by as the last frame comes to a close. On one hand, it’s a beautiful journey. But on the other, there’s a terrifying revelation to be had when you really dwell on the all-too-cliché phrase of “life’s too short.”

“Bed Sores” is one of 2014’s catchiest jams — in typical Fireworks fashion — and the single now has a video accompaniment with equal staying power. You can watch it after the jump.
