Anthony Green Releases ‘Prevention Songs,’ Will Donate Proceeds To Suicide Prevention

In case you needed another reason to adore Circa Survive‘s frontman Anthony Green, then here it is.

It seems Green was inspired to utilize his musical influence in light of Robin Williams’ passing earlier this week as he has released two songs under the title Prevention Songs. The two tracks are available at a “pay what you want” price, and Green has promised to donate 100% of the proceeds to American Association For Suicide Prevention. You can see what he had to say about the songs and his reasoning behind publishing them today below:

“I’m excited to share these two new songs with everyone. Music has always been my way of dealing with some of the loneliest and darkest times in my life and these songs helped me ring out some serious stuff that was going on in my head. I share them with you for free in hopes that if you are able you will help support the American association for suicide prevention. 100 % of the donations will go to them. Ive had to deal first hand with the debilitating effects of suicide and depression is something I think effects everyone in one way or another. Please help spread the word about this organization.”
