Bastille Keep Things Melancholy With The Debut Of “Bad News”

Bastille have had a banner year. In less than eighteen months this import pop rock outfit have quickly become one of the most played groups at radio, and along the way they’ve score a number of top 10 singles. Today, while still riding high off the success of their debut album, the members of Bastille shared a new song that is sure to punch you right in the feels.

“Oblivion” is the eighth song to be given the single treatment off Bastille’s latest full-length, and in early September the track will be released alongside one additional recording on the band’s Oblivion 7-inch. That extra song, which before today had never been shared with the public, is titled “Bad News.” It’s a melancholy track the falls perfectly in line with everything Bastille have released up to this point. You can stream the song, in full, below:

Pre-orders for the Oblivion 7-inch are available now. We’ll bring you more on Bastille’s plans for the future as soon as additional information becomes available. Stay tuned.
