Jeezy Talks About His Unlikely Rise On “Holy Ghost”

Jeezy is not the kind of rapper who likes to kick back and talk about the past, but that is exactly what happens on his new track, “Holy Ghost.” Backed by a driving production, Jeezy reflects on his unlikely rise from the streets to the top of the Billboard charts over the course of three verses. It’s not all pain and gain, there is a lot of loss and strife in there as well, but the international sensation does make it known that he’s gone through some tough times we might not yet know about. You can stream the song, in full, at the end of this post.

The promotional run up to Jeezy’s new album, Seen It All, has been a whirwind thus far. Each single ups the ante, and the release of “Holy Ghost” is no different. The record hits stores September 2 via Def Jam, but pre-orders are available now on iTunes.
