We Are Human Release “New Scars, Old Habits” Music Video

Need a little hard rock to help kickstart the work week grind? We can help.

Woodstock, Ontario hard rock outfit We Are Human have released the official music video for the song “New Scars, Old Habits.” The video was directed by Steve Putt and displays the full fury and energy of We Are Human’s live performances in an up close and personal way. This is a fancy way of saying the entire clip takes place in a tiny performance space, and to be honest I’m pretty sure the exact location is someone’s unused garage. You can view the video below and judge for yourself:

If you’re watching the clip above and find yourself thinking that the members of We Are Human look familiar, you might not be mistaken. This band rose from the ashes of another group, Misguided Aggression. As MA, the band released two full-length albums, Hatchala (2009) and Flood the Common Ground (2011) on Year of the Sun Records. This is a nice change of pace from that material, but the heaviness remains in tact throughout.

“New Scars, Old Habits” is the second song to be released by We Are Human in 2014. You can view the lyric video for another song, “Apotheosis,” here.

We Are Human are continuing to tour and record throughout the remainder of 2014. The band hopes to release their debut EP in early 2015, but at this time have not set a release date. Stay tuned.
