Philadelphia rock outfit Beach Slang have released a new song called “All Fuzzed Out.” The track, which premiered on Stereogum earlier today, is the second to surface from the band’s upcoming Tiny Engines debut.
I’ve tried many times in recent months to figure out the best way to describe what Beach Slang are doing with their music, but try as I might the band continually catches me off guard with new ideas and sonic variations that seem to always be just a bit better than whatever came before. “All Fuzzed Out” is no exception to this rule, offering a wall of guitar heavy sound and a melody that cannot be denied. It’s loud, yet beautiful. Check it out:
Beach Slang’s Cheap Thrills On A Dead End Street EP comes out 9/30 digitally and 10/28 on vinyl via Tiny Engines. The band also has a slew of tour dates on the horizon:
