UTG TV got a chance to catch up with Stolas at Thee Parkside in San Francisco while on the ‘Blue Swan Records Tour.’ The band is supporting label-mates Hail The Sun, alongside Icarus the Owl and a host of dynamic guests including The Venetia Fair and Adventurer.

During our interview Stolas discussed their upcoming release, Allomaternal, the band’s second full-length album, which is due October 15 on Blue Swan Records. Allomaternal, a 10-track concept album, was recorded with legendary producer Kris Crummett, (Slaves, Dance Gavin Dance, Closure In Moscow) at Interlace Audio in Portland, Oregon. So far the band has released the album’s first single, entitled “Solunar,” with plans to make “Hiraeth” the album’s second single.
