Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has returned to his solo career to release his second album, titled Tyranny. This time around, Casablancas has enlisted the help of a band called The Voidz to provide backup for the upcoming release, which hits shelves September 23. So far we’ve seen 2 singles from the album, “Human Sadness” and “Where No Eagles Fly.”
Pre-orders for Tyranny are available on the website for Casablancas’ label, Cult Records, as well as Amazon. Cult Records was also the home to the first solo release from Casablancas, 2009’s Phrazes for the Young.
