Such Gold Announce New Album ‘The New Sidewalk’; Premiere New Song “Faced”

Rochester, NY melodic hardcore band Such Gold have been quiet in the past year recording their follow-up to their highly praised 2012 full-length debut Misadventures. Today, the band has announced that a new record is on the horizon for the quartet and the sophomore effort will be named The New Sidewalk.

The anticipated album will be released on November 10 via Razor & Tie Records and it was produced by the famous Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Rise Against, A Wilhelm Scream) at his The Blasting Room studios in Fort Collins, CO. Here is what vocalist/guitarist Ben Kotin told AltPress about recording with Stevenson:

Vocalist/guitarist Ben Kotin says, “We were really nervous going in; we didn’t know what to expect in the studio. On The New Sidewalk, we had a lot more time to really do what we want. The atmosphere was a little more relaxed. We got the chance to just hang out with Bill and company every day, shoot the shit about music, listen to his jokes and stories. It was a really comfortable setting.”

The band premiered a new song named “Faced” on Altpress with the album announcement and you can stream it below
