Man, Dads sure have changed a lot since the release of American Radass (this is important) back in 2012. One of the first bands to climb to national relevancy during the (ugh) emo revival, the East Coast duo have been flag-bearers of the movement ever since, whether they asked for it or not.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think that their new album I’ll Be The Tornado was an entirely different group. The core sound is there, but this is a whole new beast stylistically. You can check out the new album in full over at Pitchfork Advance.
Let us know what you think of the new album, and look out for a full review on UTG very soon.
