UTG TV EXCLUSIVE: Machine Gun Kelly Cooks Burgers For The Kids

Last Wednesday, Machine Gun Kelly performed to a sold-out Best Buy Theater in the heart of New York City (photos coming soon). After his explosive performance preparing the Times Square crowd for Limp Bizkit, he took the following day to give back to the local community. MGK hit Jamaica, Queens to spend some time with kids after school.

He arrived in style to Burgandy’s Cafe, a local spot on Hillside Avenue, where he immediately hopped out and put on an apron. He then spent some time behind the grill, cooking sliders for a crowd of screaming young fans. Also in attendance were DJ Caesar and Coach PR from SiriusXM’s Shade45; you can hear them on their Saturday show, Weekend Work, or on the Whoolywood Shuffle with DJ Whoo Kid. It turns out that Coach PR actually owns the establishment and helped set up the event with MGK. After all the children had full bellies, MGK also stopped into a local barbershop to converse and have a quick sip of Hennessy after all his hard work.

“I wanted to do something for the kids in my community. I live here, I have a restaurant here, it’s only right. I wan’t to promote a healthy lifestyle, even though today we’re eating burgers and french fries,” Coach PR told Under The Gun Review.

The inside of Burgandy’s Cafe features a wall littered with PR and various celebrities who’d stopped in to have something to eat. Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Cedric The Entertainer, Mary J. Blige and countless other artists seemed to know that no matter how famous you get, there’s nothing like a little local flavor.
