Ohio native Machine Gun Kelly is the latest in a long line of hip-hop celebrities to try and find success on the silver screen. Lucky for us, his first role is a rapper.
Beyond The Lights is the latest film from Love & Basketball creator Gina Prince-Bythewood. The film follows a young musician, who looks just a bit like Rihanna, that finds herself struggling with the pressure of success while on the verge of becoming the next big pop star. To make matters worse, her love life is a mess, including what appears to be a less than peaceful relationship with the rapper she recruits to collaborate on her big single. That rapper is played by none other than MGK, and in the movie’s latest trailer audiences are given several glimpses at his role in the film. Check it out:
