One of pop-punk’s biggest international acts, UK’s Neck Deep, have announced a new record called Life’s Not Out To Get You. Album pre-orders drop May 12 along with a new song called “Can’t Kick Up The Roots” and a music video. Artwork can be found below.
I can’t help but make a stray observation about the release date. The album releases August 14 via Hopeless Records. Given the May 12 pre-orders, that’s a three month album roll-out. A roll-out that long probably indicates that Hopeless Records anticipates this to be a huge release, possibly with a big single for the band to play on Warped Tour this summer. The timing is strange though – the band finishes their Warped Tour run a week before the big release date. Therefore, we can probably expect the band on a big fall tour to capitalize on the release.
I’m a big fan of the artwork, which you can see below. We’ll let you know when you can hear “Can’t Kick Up The Roots” and check out the track listing.
