mewithoutYou have long been a band that stayed in a lane entirely their own, and if I had to guess, the album they began teasing earlier this afternoon will be no exception.

Without warning, mewithoutYou surprised fans around the globe today by releasing a video teaser announcing their forthcoming sixth studio album. The record, which is set for release in early-to-mid 2015, is apparently titled Thy Foes Profanely Rage. The clip features music and live footage, but no lyrics. You can view the video below:

It’s unclear at this point if Thy Foes Profanely Rage will be an independent release or something done with the involvement of a label, but either way we are predictably thrilled to hear what MWY have created. The band are keeping additional album details close to the chest for now, but we’re guessing more information will surface before the end of the year. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
