As the band and its fans gear up for a new AVA era in the form of their impending record, The Dream Walker, Angels & Airwaves also have other things up their sleeves. The two-years-in-the-making short film under the band’s company, To The Stars, is entitled Poet Anderson. The animated short revolves around a boy who is able to tap into his comatose brother’s sub-conscience in another universe.

Tom Delonge, the band’s frontman, goes into the film’s details in the WRRV interview included below. Delonge also talks briefly about the novel that will be preceding the short film. It will be written by New York Times best-selling author, Suzanne Young, and it will be available in the spring.
