Skate And Surf Festival Announces More Bands Including Acceptance Reunion, The Gaslight Anthem, American Nightmare, And More

Today will go down in history. Acceptance has reunited.

The folks over at Skate and Surf have announced several more bands that will be performing at this year’s edition of the festival. The already impressive lineup including Manchester Orchestra, The Dropkick Murphys, The Wonder Years, The Story So Far, The Front Bottoms and more has expanded to include some unbelievable additions. Notably, Acceptance will be playing together for the first time since 2006, New Jersey favorites The Gaslight Anthem have nabbed a headlining slot, and talent including Poison The Well, From Autumn to Ashes, mewithoutYou, American Nightmare, Runaway Brother, and Spraynard fill out the bill.

Skate and Surf got off to a rocky start during their first year back in 2013, but have gradually been returning to their legendary punk festival roots with each subsequent year. This lineup proves that the people at Skate and Surf know how to assemble a fantastic group of bands.

Check below for a flyer and a list of all the previously unannounced bands. We’ll be covering Skate and Surf festival this year, which runs May 16 and 17. You can check out the festival’s Facebook page for ticketing information.

If you’re not excited about Acceptance reuniting, I’m assuming that means you’ve never listened to their first and only full-length record, Phantoms. Stream it at Spotify here.
