The Maine Premiere New Single, “English Girls”

As we have previously mentioned, alt-rock outfit The Maine have recently wrapped up the recording process for their newest record entitled American Candy. Due out on March 31, the new record will be serving as the direct follow-up to their 2013 release of Forever Halloween.

Today the Arizona five-piece has shared the first single off the new record. The song, which you can take a listen to below, is entitled “English Girls” and it is definitely one fans will come to love. One could argue that this new single echoes a poppier, more early-era The Maine as opposed to the material from their last two records.

Lead singer John O’Callaghan shares: ”I believe this record has birthed a rejuvenated and optimistic outlook on life that we can only hope is evident and contagious within the 8123 family.”

Take a look below and let us know what you think.

In case you missed it, The Maine will be heading out on a full U.S. tour this spring with Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, and The Technicolors. More info on those dates here.
