Birmingham, Alabama native Katie Crutchfield, aka Waxahatchee, will release her latest album, Ivy Tripp, on April 7 via Merge Records.
The soft, tender melodies and Crutchfield’s sweet vocals create a truly tantalizing album. Crutchfield writes from a place of youthful introspection while still managing to bring in a mature consciousness to the lyrics. The 13-track album showcases Crutchfield’s musical talent and only further proves that she is a force to be reckoned with in the world of singer-songwriters.
Ivy Tripp is currently available to stream via NPR. Pre-orders are available through the Merge shop.
