We Are The Catalyst Announce China Tour

Earlier this month, we brought you a new video from Sweden’s We Are The Catalyst – a cover of Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child.” The song and video are part of an effort to raise money and awareness for Rock For The Children, a charity that aims to strengthen the futures of fostered children.

Following their contribution to that cause, We Are The Catalyst have announced a run of shows in China that will begin on April 28 in Beijing and conclude on May 4 in Shanghai, but not before they play to 100,000 people at Shanghai’s massive Strawberry Festival on May 3. More dates are set to be announced some time in the near future. You can view the current dates on the flyer below.

WATC guitarist Kenny Boufadene shares, “We are genuinely excited about getting to play in China. We had originally been asked to attend the SOTX Expo, China’s equivalent to SXSW, but I guess someone in the right department really loved what they heard from us and asked us to play a number of extra shows including their biggest music festival in Shanghai.”
