A Will Away Added To Head North, Light Years Tour

Last week, we told you that A Will Away has been added to this year’s Skate and Surf Festival. Today, we’re pleased to share that the Connecticut band will be hitting the road with Head North and Light Years this summer.

A Will Away will take the spot on this previously-announced tour left by No Good News, who have pulled out of their touring plans due to controversy surrounding drummer Harry Corrigan. The addition of A Will Away makes this a tour package not worth missing – the band is currently promoting their fantastic EP Bliss, which I reviewed back in March. This tour package also gives Head North the chance to play “Brave Hands” and “Bluejay” on this run featuring guest vocals from A Will Away lead vocalist Matt Carlson, as he appears on the record. I can hope, at least.

If you were planning to head out to the show regardless and you’re not familiar with A Will Away, I’d recommend starting with “My Sitter.” Fans of The American Scene and rich tones will love this one.
