Did you know you needed a Beyonce cover by Third Eye Blind in your life? Neither did we. Slowly but surely, the San Francisco alt-rock icons are gearing up for the release of their upcoming record, Dopamine. Due out on July 16, the six-years-in-the-making follow-up to Ursa Major from 2009 has been in the works for quite some time now. You can check out its lead single, “Everything Is Easy,” here.

As we all impatiently wait for more new material, 3EB has graced us with a wonderful rendition of Beyonce’s “Mine.” The five-piece transformed the radio hit into one of their own; you’ll barely even recognize it until you reach the chorus.
